Kids In Divine Service

 For Kids from Birth through 6th Grade

We invite your child to our K.I.D.S. area on Sundays and Wednesdays! It is our desire to provide a positive experience for both you and your child.KIDS Street

Our Children’s Department is not a babysitting service—we believe that there is no child too young to learn of Jesus’ love and our purpose is to share that love with them!

We are excited about the children who come to us and the opportunity we have each week to teach them about God, His love for them, and how they can be an extension of His love to others.

 

Our Purpose is to help each child:

  • Feel safe, loved, happy,comfortable and to know thatJesus loves them.
  • View the Bible as God’s Special Book, enjoy its stories, and learn how to apply it to their lives.
  • Learn how to talk to God...and howto be still in His presence.
  • Worship the Lord with their whole heart through songs, drama, and hand motions.

 

  • Infant~Toddler~Preschool Check-In Starts at 9:45 a.m.
  • Infant Room: Newborn to 18 months. Our Nursing Mothers Room is located in the Infant Room
  • Toddler Room: 18 months to Age 3
  • Preschool Room: Age 3 to Age 5
  • K.I.D.S. Church Check-In Starts at 9:45 a.m.
  • Kindergarten & 1st Grade: Check in upstairs at K.I.D.S. Church and pick up downstairs in K-1 Room
  • 2nd Grade to 5th Grade: Check In & Out upstairs at K.I.D.S. Church

Upcoming KIDS Events

This is a great time to plug in to Celebration Kids Ministry on Sunday mornings. Be reminded parents that, on normal Sundays, at least one parent needs to sign their kids into kids classes. Some parents have been sending up their older siblings to pick up their children and we need it to be a parent. Thank you for your help in this matter.
 
March Missions Madness -   Sunday, March 10th - Please encourage your child to wear an ugly tie. They will then be on display, in the main sanctuary, at the end of each adult service. The adults can choose which tie is the "ugliest tie" by place money in the student's barrel.
 
 
March Missions Madness - Sunday, March 17th - The children will be selling bags of peanuts with a "Texas Roadhouse" FREE Appetizer coupon attached to each bag. Each bag will be $3.00 and all money goes to Missions.
 
 
March Missions Madness - On March 24th and 31st, the students will have decorated their Barrels. They will be on display in the adult sanctuary. Adults are encouraged to choose their favorite Barrel by place money into that Barrel.
 
 
Fun Arts - May 18th, Harrisburg, First Assembly of God.  Applications will be available to all students that are interested in using the gifts that God has give them.
 
Planning ahead -  Kids Camp - July 15 - 19, 2013

Disciples In Training – DIT – Our Wednesday night DIT program is for students in grades 1 – 6.  There will be awesome worship, fun games, Holy Spirit led lessons and much more!!!  See you there!!
 
Kid's Worship - We are beginning to develop a kid's church worship team.  If you have any of the above instruments at your home that are collecting dust and you would like to donate them to an amazing cause, the children's ministry would love to have them.  We are in need of an electric guitar and amp, bass guitar and amp, microphones, and a drum set.
